One feature common to the upper model 704 and 703 is the single piece sloping top and front baffle. This produces a stronger cabinet and also eliminates a sharp edge, which would cause sound diffraction from the sound driver. There is a 6.5" woven Kevlar cone for bass/midrange and a free-mounted 1" alloy dome tweeter, which sits on top of the main cabinet in a Nautilus tapering tube. This tweeter-on-top design eliminates reflections that may occur if the driver where placed in a conventional cabinet. There is also a front-mounting flowport for bass reflex. The 705 is designed to be used with the FS-700/CM stand, which are not included. The cabinet is avaialable in five real wood veneers: cherry, rosenut, maple, walnut and black ash; comes with a removable black cloth grill and is individudally for $825.
