The Cerwin Vega XLS-15S is a mid-level subwoofer, released in late 2009. This product is a step up from the CLS-12S, a less powerful subwoofer in a 12-inch woofer configuration. With its base reflex design, this subwoofer is capable of low frequency response down to 25 Hz.

A total of 250 watts are available to the XLS-15S, which translates into loud, powerful bass. The paper cone foam half roll woofer measures 15-inches in diameter, while the unit is enclosed in a black-ash cast frame cabinet. The Vega XLS-15S also features level controls and variable crossovers, enabling owners to tweak the subwoofer settings for just about any environment. Auto-on sensing is built-in, allowing the subwoofer to remain powered down when not in use. RCA input connectors include left and right, plus one for low frequency effects.
