Definitive Technology Mythos Ten

$899.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1The Definitive Technology Mythos Ten is a bookshelf speaker designed specifically to complement 50” and larger flat panel TVs. As a direct upgrade from the Mythos Nine, the Mythos Ten, which is in fact the most expensive and powerful unit in the Mythos Series, hosts two Balanced Double Surround System (BDSS) drivers pressure-coupled to two 5x8” racetrack-shaped planar low-bass radiators.

Added to that, there’s also a 1” ceramic-coated Pure Aluminum dome tweeter, which together with the drivers/radiators allows the unit to process up to 300 watts of audio power along an extremely wide 31Hz-30kHz frequency range. Plus the racetrack-shaped design on the radiators gives the Mythos Ten a bass radiating surface greater than that of a 12” subwoofer.
