The Definitive Technology ProMonitor 1000 model is a mid-grade surround/satellite speaker that is part of the Definitive Tech ProCinema audio equipment series. This mid-grade speaker is designed to compliment an elegant and luxurious lifestyle; thus the unit is specifically targeted for a more mature audience.

The ProMonitor 1000 is more specifically a compact, and high-definition satellite surround speaker meant to be used with related DT ProCenter and ProSub units. The PM 1000 cabinet stands 10-7/8" tall; and is surrounded in a professional finish that is available in a Glossy-Black or Glossy-White color. Each PM 1000 speaker unit includes one 1" pure aluminum dome tweeter, one 5-1/4" BDSS bass/midrange driver, and one 5-1/4" pressure coupled bass radiator.
