Energy Veritas V-5.2-C

The Energy Veritas V-5.2-C is an upper mid-cost center channel speaker. This model differs from the lower cost Veritas V-Mini-C model in some key ways. First, it is equipped with larger woofers (5.25 inches instead of 4.5 inches), for a stronger bass sound.

 Second, the Veritas V-5.2-C has a port plug that the Veritas V-Mini-C lacks. The port plug turns your speaker from a ported speaker into a near sealed speaker, which makes the bass sound punchier and less distorted, though not as loud. Third, the Veritas V-5.2-C has a pair of 5-way nickel-plated binding post inputs, instead of just one. A final difference between the two models is the fact that the Veritas V-5.2-C can handle more amplifier power (two hundred watts as opposed to just a hundred and fifty). Features shared between the two speakers include a one inch aluminum domed tweeter, which is geared toward smooth acoustic dispersion.
