JBL CSC56

The JBL CSC56 is a center channel speaker designed specifically for integration with modern flat-panel and plasma televisions. This is a 2-way speaker with a pair of 5 inch PolyPlas-reinforced woofers designed to be accurate and durable, and has high end support with a titanium-laminate tweeter that uses Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguides to shape the sound for a more directional feel.

Together the drivers cover the full 55Hz to 30kHz range, ensuring that all but the deep bass range are well represented and that the voices of the actors are clear and distinct. The system is driven using an 8 ohm impedance, enabling the drivers to take a high-powered signal to avoid interference. While capable of a peak 300 watt power, the recommended amplifier power for this center speaker is 150 watts.
