This technology has been refined for the RF-82 to include an improved throat geometry for more genuine, lifelike sound.  Behind the horn is a 1" titanium tweeter with a large ceramic motor to give precise and clear sound. Below the horn there are dual 8" Cerametallic woofers with inverted copper dust caps.  These woofers have a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and feature superb damping.  The cabinet is designed with internal crossbracing to minimize unwanted vibrations and dual rear-firing ports eliminate turbulant noise.  There is also incresed baffle ribbing around the horn mouth for improved acoustics.  The Klipsch RF-82 are sold by the pair, and are available in a black woodgrain vinyl finish with magnetically attached speaker grills.
