The Klipsch RVX-42 LCR is part of the Reference Series, sold individually and meant to offer a high-fidelity complement to LCD and plasma televisions. The RVX-42 holds dual 4-inch Cerametallic woofers and a 1-inch Tractrix titanium dome compression driver.

It features keyhole mounts and threaded inserts for an optional pedestal base or wall mount. Klipsch has outfitted the RVX-42 with a bass compensation switch which can be used to get the possible sound whether the speaker is positioned on- or off-wall. The RVX-42 can be combined with many other Reference Series models to create 5.1-channel surround sound.
