Klipsch S-20

The Klipsch S-20 is a high mid-cost 400 watt surround speaker. This speaker utilizes the WDST (Wide Dispersion Surround Technology) configuration, which is an arrangement of the tweeters and woofer that produces large surround sound at the same time as providing precise localization of sounds.

The 5.25" IMG woofer of the S-20 speaker is aluminum treated, which helps to reduce sound distortion. The S-20 is equipped with a square Tractrix horn, which also helps to reduce distortion, and regulates the soundwaves from the speaker to expand the field of dispersion to 90 degrees x 60 degrees. The S-20 is a step up from the lower cost S-10 speaker in that it has more wattage (400 watts as opposed to 200 watts), larger tweeters (1" as opposed to .75"), and a larger woofer (5.25" as opposed to 4"). The Klipsch S-20 surround speaker comes in a black ash vinyl finish.
