Klipsch VB-15

The Klipsch VB-15 is a pair of mid-level home theater speakers, released in 2008. The VB-15 is part of Klipsch’s Icon V series, which offer consumers slim speakers with a minimalist aesthetic. Two floorstanding models, plus a center channel and surround model is also available.

The Klipsch VB-15 consists of a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter mounted within a XT Tractrix horn. The fiber-composite woofer measures 5.25-inches in diameter. Compared to previous models, Klipsch has changed the shape of the tweeter to minimize the dispersion shortcomings of a horn-based speaker. The grills located on the lower half of the speakers are not removable, so those who like to experiment with their speaker setup are out of luck. The Klipsch VB-15 is available in a black vinyl finish with a furniture-grade black wood veneer top cap.
