The Logitech Harmony 525 is an entry-level multifunction, programmable remote control released in 2005. The Harmony 525 is nearly identical to the Harmony 555, with the exception of 5 less user-programmable components plus a different color scheme.

The user will find a blue backlit display on its top, plus a numeric keypad, numerous programmable selection keys, a navigation pad and side mounted keys as well. The Harmony 525 requires 4 AAA batteries. This universal remote can control up to 10 devices simultaneously, including a wide range of TVs, digital set-top boxes, DVRs, Satellites, DVD players, VHS machines, amplifiers, game consoles, media center PCs and more. Logitech’s remote can be updated over USB 2.0 to support new hardware devices at any time via the manufacturer’s website, which is accessible through the included installation CD.
