Motorola NYXgreen

The Motorola NYXgreen is a remote control and dock set, set to be released in late 2010. This product was released alongside Motorola’s NYXboard, a hybrid keyboard/remote control with motion sensing.

Marketed as an environmentally friendly product, the NYXgreen eliminates traditional batteries in favor of built-in super capacitors. The manufacturer claims the NYXgreen can last for up to two weeks on a single 60-second charge. This remote is intended for corporate customers in the hospitality industry, as traditional batteries can be expensive to replace on large scales. The Motorola NYXgreen has 25 buttons plus a 4-way directional pad.
