At its core is Mahogany wood, widely employed to build high-quality guitars—it renders the speaker luxurious looking, yet chockablock with extreme tonality and minimized vibration.

Included also is a woofer & diaphragm based off Onkyo Micro Fiber (OMF), which helps to prevent breakup, while serving as an equivalent complement to the woofer’s piston motion-range. Unique about the Onkyo D-TK10 is its Aero Acoustic Drive, a circular duct engineered as a replacement to poorly created bass-reflex design; it allows for greater separation between low and high frequencies.
