Paradigm PDR-8

$200.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1The Paradigm PDR-8 is one of two PDR Series subwoofers (PDR-8, PDR-10) released as smaller and more affordable compartments to the DSP Series subwoofers. In particular, it hosts an 8” superior, reinforced Polymer-Composite cone; built-in high-performance discrete amplifiers for a total 300W peak power output; and high-velocity, low-noise dual rear ports with flared openings for maximum bass efficiency with near-minimal distortion.

Expert reviewers say that though the PDR-8 performs better than most in its price range, it’s not ideal for movies with a lot of intense low-frequency effects, such as U-571 or The Incredibles.
