Polk Audio T15

$230.00 Released August, 2005

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Great sound for the price--mids and highs are strong. Make a great addition to any pre-existing home audio setup as left/right channel satellites. Short legs on the backs keep theses speakers evenly spaced from the wall when mounted, allowing the rear port to breathe.

The Cons:Bass-end is a little weak, requiring a decent subwoofer. A little on the large side for shelf speakers (~12" deep). The highs may seem a little too active for some.

The Polk Audio T15 is a two-way bookshelf speaker designed to be used in rooms to provide a surround sound. The mid-level Polk Audio model has a 5.25-inch bi-laminate composite woofer and a 1-inch silk polymer-composite tweeter that both have Dynamic Balance technology that helps it create a true sound that's clear and loud.

Excellent price point as these can match the performance of much more expensive speakers in a surround sound setup.
