PSB Image B6 Bookshelf

$500.00 Released July, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:A great update of the B25s - much closer to the Imagine line at only half the cost. Affordable price point. Stunning aesthetics - slightly rounded, not far off from the Imagine B.

The Cons:Manufactured in China.

The PSB Image B6 Bookshelf is an Image Series speaker set released as a successor to the 2008 Imagine Series and 2007 Synchrony Series. Designed for multi-channel deployments, 2.1-channel subwoofer/satellite systems, and main-channel use, the B6 takes a step forward from the B5 by incorporating a larger 6-1/2” woofer.

Though this doesn’t result in additional power handling, it does allow for a lower frequency extension, which in turn creates deeper and more resonating bass. Otherwise a duplicate, the Image B6 inherits an injection-molded, clay/ceramic-filled polypropylene design that optimizes stiffness, internal dampening and low mass; and robust baffles made from 1-1/8”-thick MDF—a material typically employed only in upscale models.
