The Sony RM-VL600 is a no-frills programmable universal remote control. The RM-VL600 can replace up to 8 different remotes. The remote learning function is the key feature on the RM-VL600, allowing this universal remote control to pick up any unique commands one might have in their existing array of remotes.

The Sony RM-VL600 also features a System Control macro function, which combines multiple commands into a single button, as well as a dual beam for longer operational distance. Released May 2006, the Sony RM-VL600 retails for $25.
