The subwoofer is designed with a 13.5" die-cast aluminum frame which houses a high-excursion SBR rubber surround with an integrated top gasket, dual linear 9" spiders, and a 3" aluminum voice coil. It includes a flush-mounted 750-watt BASH amplifier which adjusts to the room size and utilizes a high efficiency linear circuit for powerful sound without cost penalties. Both the woofer and amplifier are identical to SVS' PB13-Ultra box subwoofer.
The enclosure of the PC13-Ultra is computer designed with three 3.5" high-flow ports on the top of the unit with CURVE venting to allow for proper air flow. The woofer is positioned down-firing and the subwoofer has an integrated baseplate with floor mounts for keeping it in place on both floor or carpet. It comes with a magnetic removable grill and has an architectural-grade black fabric exterior . The subwoofer has an MSRP of $1400 and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
