Universal Remote RFS200

The Universal Remote RFS200 is a package that contains both the Universal Remote Control RF20 controller and the PowerBlaster MRF-100B. The RF20 is designed to replace as many as 10 individual remotes and can control that many components of an AV system.

It is supposed to recognize codes from all major brands. It also is customizable, and allows for favorites and custom commands to change settings. It has an LCD screen to display options and can retain programmed information for up to 10 years, even without batteries. The PowerBlaster unit is designed to increase the remote's operating range by re-broadcasting IR signals to A/V equipment. The PowerBlaster's range is between 50 and 100 feet from each device, regardless of obstacles. Effectively, it uses more powerful IR flashers than a remote. The whole package is supposed to help get A/V equipment out of the way, and to then control it with one remote.
